Irish Priests: The Other Side of the Coin
Dear TIA,
Re: Rules on How Girls Should Act
Your correspondent C P. of Ireland writes quite frequently and nostalgically of social mores in early post-war Ireland.
However, one does wonder how embedded the Catholic Faith actually was amongst the laity and did some of it border on superstition?
Certainly, the Irish Clergy and their extensive ‘diaspora’ here in the UK and on the missions were probably the most enthusiastic and full-throated proponents of the Novus Ordo, the so-called ‘new evangelization’ and all its seemingly endless novelties.
Even in Japan after the Jesuits were kicked out, the laity persevered using the traditional Holy Rosary as a devotion. By contrast in Ireland the descent into atheism since 1969 has been rapid and catastrophic.
Irish priests in my experience mask that they are ashamed of the Gospel with reliance on Irish ‘charm’ and ‘blarney’. In 70 years I can’t recall a single one who preached a hard or challenging sermon. It’s usually fashionable ‘boilerplate’ fluff about the suggestions to secular authorities as to how they might organize societal affairs of Pope Leo XIII in Rerum Novarum which they pass off as if it were the ‘doctrine’ of the Church.
Yours in Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Vatican Joins Confucianism
TIA,
Another step closer to a one-world religion.
The Vatican for the first time has signed a joint declaration with reps of Confucianism at the end of a symposium that closed August 6, 2026. It calls for “ongoing collaboration between Christians and Confucians” to address the urgent challenges of today’s world. The Declaration calls for recognizing “a common call to build a world of justice, respect, compassion, peace, and harmony” despite differences in tradition.
Now Confucianism does not even recognize an omnipotent deity, so one wonders what in the world Catholicism can agree on with it. It is the madness of Vatican II ecumenism, which does not aim to convert but converge.
Thought your readers should know about it.

1958 Memo
TIA,
A secret 1958 memo, hidden for 67 years, has finally been leaked. Written before Vatican II even began, it contains a step by step blueprint to dismantle the Traditional Latin Mass - removing high altars, suppressing Offertory prayers, and replacing Latin with the vernacular. Archbishop Annibale Bugnini engineered the liturgical revolution.
Now, in 2026, the truth is out. Watch to see how one document destroyed Catholic worship.

Societal Turning Point
Hello,
An article from the Washington Times on August 12, 2026, states:
- Men are leaving the workforce at alarming rates, threatening social stability.
- 44.07 million eligible men are not in the labor force, an increase of 9 million since 2012.
- The workforce participation rate for men dropped to 66.8%, the lowest since 1948.
The hard part is that we women are in it. As the article notes, one economist teaching at Loyola University New Orleans states, “Not only are men dropping out of the workforce, they are also dropping out of colleges and universities. Rampant feminism has taken over our society, much to its great harm.”
I think there is truth in this. We women have been lied to, told we will find fulfillment only in the workplace and by being equal to men. So, we didn’t learn homemaking skills or really much of anything but computers and books. So, if we do marry, we are not able to do what our grandmothers did – cook, clean, take care of the children and house, and be good and faithful wives. Sounds like a fairy tale.
I’m not putting all the blame on women. Many of the boys I know complain all the time, are big babies, and expect the wife to work so they can do their video-games . But they do have a hard lot, they didn’t learn to be men either.
Any practical advice for our lost generation?
R.S.

TIA responds:
Hello R.S.,
TIA has been fighting against Feminism and trying to form young men and young women for more than 20 years. There is a lot of material on these topics on our Cultural Page and Men and Women in Society Page .
Confirming what you say, young men actually are becoming increasingly irresponsible and feminine and young women increasingly arrogant and masculine.
As a suggestion we recommend you read our articles on the pages indicated above and spread them among your young lady acquaintances. If you need more assistance and have more specific questions, we will be glad to address them.
As for the alarming reduction of the workforce caused by the introduction of AI and automation with its catastrophic consequences, it is a new plan of the Secret Forces that will change the whole way we have always conceived work and life.
We are heading to a massive exodus from the great cities and return to the countryside to enter a kind of Tribalism. An entire Revolution in our culture and ways-of-being…
Cordially,

In your latest Forgotten Truths you posted an except by Lucien Chabot in which he states that Liberalism “is Satan's own personal heresy, since it consists of the creature usurping for his own profit the independence and sovereignty that belong only to God from all eternity, and in the order of time to Our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Could you, please, elaborate a little on this statement? I am not getting how one thing leads to the other.
Thank you for your time.
M.M.
TIA responds:
Dear M.M.,
Thank you for your confidence. Yes, the author had some presuppositions that were not made explicit in that text.
The logic of his statement can be understood when we consider that since God created man, not only man individually considered but society as a whole has as an obligation to be recognizant of God as the Creator and Maintainer of their individual and social lives. This recognition supposes that the Catholic Church – as the sole guardian of the entire Truth and Divine Revelation – be given due place in temporal society.
God is only properly honored through the Catholic Church, the Religion Our Lord Jesus Christ founded. Therefore, men individually considered and all of society only fulfill their obligations toward God when these conditions are accomplished. This is to give God His Throne as King, His due role in society and in individual lives. Our Lord Jesus Christ must be recognized as King of society and His Church must be duly protected so that she may influence all people for the good.
Now then, Liberalism came with the idea that all religions are equal and demanded that the Temporal State must impose this idea as a law. However, in political-social terms this is a revolt against the whole Truth and the one and only Faith, because it places them on the same level of all errors and heresies.
By doing this, Liberalism usurps the sovereignty due to God in society and in the individual life of every man.
What about God's independence? At the moment it is admitted that all religions are equal before the law, the State becomes the judge which decides all questions regarding liberty of worship. In other words, the State becomes superior to all religions, including the only True Religion, the Catholic Church. She loses her independence and consequently God's independence is usurped.
This situation is the opposite of what should be, that is, the Church as superior to the State should illuminate it like the sun illuminates the moon. The State should rely on such orientation and defend the Church.
The liberal principle that all religions are equal before the law is the institutionalization of all errors and heresies, which is tantamount to the usurpation of the roles due to Truth and Faith. Therefore, it is the officialization of Satan’s motto Non serviam under the disguise of freedom of conscience and religious liberty.
This is the backdrop that was presupposed in Lucien Chabot’s statement.
