Jubillee door shofar 1

Jubilee door opens to the sound of a shofar

On January 5, 2025, Card. James Harvey ceremoniously opened the fifth and final Holy Door of the Jubilee of Hope, the door of the Basilica of St. Paul Outside-the-Walls. The ceremony began in the Basilica's courtyard with the sound of a shofar.

Now the shofar is not used in Catholic liturgy or ceremonies. It is an instrument characteristically used by the Jewish religion to call out the Jewish new year or for other important religious events.

Why the shofar was used to announce Francis' jubilee is a question that is opened to speculation. It raises some suspicions...

In the past we have seen Paul VI wearing the rational, a symbol of the Jewish high priest, John Paul II wearing the "mantle of Jerusalem," also a Jewish symbol, and Benedict XVI receiving a shofar when he went to the Cologne synagogue.

Why does the Church, so rich in her bi-millennial liturgy, need to import now such a primitive instrument from a religion that abominates Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Most Holy Mother, and that in its official books makes the most outrageous offenses against the Catholic Church?

Does this mean that the infiltration of Progressivism in the Catholic Church was made to hand her over to Judaism?
