Male Travesties in TLM Mass

Dear TIA,

I was told today by a devout Catholic man that "it is not a sin for a man to dress up as a woman." And that we cannot judge the soul.

The subject came up due to the fact that there are currently two (2) men dressing as women at our TLM. One is at least 65 and has been attending our parish for at least 2 years. Pink skirts, odd pants underneath, scarf to cover Adam's apple, and goes by "Allison."

The other is in his 30's and showed up at the High Mass just yesterday.

Please let me know if it is, or is not, a sin for a man to dress up and pretend he is a woman.

     Thank you & God bless,

     A.M.

TIA responds:

Dear A.M.,

The Scripture is quite clear in this regard when it says: "A woman shall not be clothed with man's apparel, neither shall a man use woman's apparel: for he that doeth these things is abominable before God." (Deut 22:5)

On this verse, Fr. Cornelius a Lapide S.J. in his Commentaries quotes St. Ambrose, who censures a man who disguises himself as a woman for several reasons: 1. It is against nature because God made man and woman different by sex, voice, stature, way of walking; 2. Animals’ exterior appearances are different between male and female, so also man and woman must be in their dress; 3. It is a lie and must be avoided, specially in sacred temples; 4. It is a danger to purity as it induces to lust.

St. Thomas teaches that if someone does it for a joke it is not a sin; to do so habitually, however, is sinful because it is forbidden by the Law (Deut 22:5) and induces to lust (cf. Summa Theologiae II, II q. 169, a. 2, ad 3).

We hope that these references will respond to your question.

Right Wing Nationalist Movement

Dear TIA

Let me introduce myself. My name is A. I'm Catholic from Indonesia. I learn much about Revolution and Counter Revolution from Tradition in Action and Professor Plinio's writings.

On October 5, 2026, Mr. Guimaraes released a good article Titled "Pope at Metz: An out of focus Panreligion".

He explained that the emerging nationalist movements, like MAGA in America, Rassemblent National in France, AFD in Germany, etc... are making the plan of One World Order fall apart.

My Question is, in the concept of Revolution and Counter Revolution, in what categories do these nationalist movements belong? Are they Counter Revolutionary? Are they on the same side of the revolutionary? Or maybe they are false right?

Thanks.

TIA responds:

Dear A.D.P.,

These nationalist movements have many points of attraction for a conservative or rightist audience, such as they are against the One World Order, Muslim immigration, abortion and homosexuality among many other evils. However, they all have a socialist agenda. Therefore, we return to National Socialism, which was precisely the name adopted by the Nazis...

One of the options of the Secret Forces to replace the One World Order is to install dictators around the world through nationalist movements. Another is to just break down the United States and let the entire world enter into chaos. Yet another is to accelerate this chaos by launching a WWIII, in addition to internal civil wars in many countries.

It is not clear so far what route they will take.

If you would like to see things in perspective, you may read other overviews Mr. Guimarães offered in the past related to this topic here and here.

Affinities between JPII & Marxism

TIA,

Re: Curious Affinities Between the Thinking of JPII and Marxism

Semper Immaculata !

I recently purchased your book. I'm a 64-year-old Polish Catholic and have been a member of the Catholic Tradition Movement for eight years. I wanted to express my deep gratitude for this work. The truth expressed in this booklet is unfortunately still largely hidden from the world, especially here in Poland.

That's why I decided to translate it into Polish. The translation was done by a colleague from my ministry, E.D. from Białystok. She has a theology degree, so her translation is certainly good. Besides, E. fully agrees with what you described.

That's why I thought I'd send you a translation of this booklet; perhaps your audience will expand to include Poles. There are about 10 million Poles living in the United States alone.

You and your work are not known in Poland, but this first book I purchased is truly impressive. We completely agree with you. We, Catholics of Tradition, want truth to be restored.

I'm not a publisher. I showed the book to a dozen or so friends, and they all really liked it, but I also received some criticism. We offer our translation of your work to you as our contribution to the recovery of truth.

Please use it if you deem it appropriate and beneficial to the cause.

Warmest regards,

     God bless you.

     W.B., Poland
