Will Rome Be Destroyed? - IV
The Wine of Wrath Will Pour
I have news for you. In case you do not know it, God is very angry but He is still giving us opportunities to save our soul. “It’s never too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary.”
The world is not going to end, but there will be a Great Chastisement that will occur on earth. Then, afterwards, as we read in Zacharias (13:8): “And there shall be in all the earth, saieth the Lord, two parts therein shall be scattered, and shall perish: but the third part shall be left therein.”
If you have been brainwashed into believing in Climate Change, Global Warming and other leftist and communist propaganda, you should not be surprised by the cataclysmic changes that will occur. But it is God who changes the seasons, causes the earth to produce bad fruit, and makes the heavenly bodies lose the regularity of their movements.
When the moon will reflect only a feeble reddish light; when water and fire will produce convulsive motions to the earth’s sphere, causing mountains and cities to be swallowed up, this will be the action of God, whose wrath can no longer be held back by the hand of Our Lady.
The three periods of History & the Apocalypse
In his 1921 book The Apocalypse of St. John, the author Rev. E. Sylvester Berry, divides the History of the Church into three periods:
Disregarding the warning of Our Lady
Heaven has tried to warn mankind to convert and repent. On May 13, 1917, Our Lady of Fatima appeared to the three seers and told them, “I come from Heaven.” She asked them to go to the Cove of Iria for six months on the 13th day of the month at the same hour because she had a message for the world: “Later, I shall say who I am and what I desire and I shall return here yet a seventh time.”
We are still waiting for that seventh appearance in the Cove of Iria.
During the third apparition on July 13, 1917, Our Lady told the three seers that she came to Fatima to save souls. These were her words:
“You have seen Hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I say, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end, (WWI) but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the pontificate of Pius XI (WW II).” That war will be the beginning of a punishment of the world for its crimes by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and the Holy Father.”
To prevent this, she asked for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If her requests were heeded, Russia would be converted and there would be peace; if not, it would spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecution of the Church.”
At the turn of the 20th century Liberal Catholics, whom Pope Pius IX had previously qualified as the “the worst enemies in the Church,” metamorphosized into Modernists and were on the rise. Although condemned by St. Pius X, their influence grew under Benedict XV and Pius XI. In 1930, when word reached Pius XI that Our Lady of Fatima had requested that Russia be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart by him and the Bishops of the world, he did nothing.
She received the “silent treatment.” That call to save our souls was rejected. The denial of Our Lady of Fatima had begun. The result was World War II and the loss of 80 million lives.
Our Lord was not pleased! He told Sister Lucy in the Apparition at Rianjo in 1931: “Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of my request, they will follow him into misfortune.”
Later He repeated the same complaint: “They did not wish to heed My request. Like the King of France, they will repent and will do it [make the consecration] but it will be late. Russia will already have spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecution against the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer.”
In her last public appearance Sister Lucy told Fr. Fuentes in a 1957 meeting: “Father, the Most Holy Virgin is very sad because no one has paid any attention to her Message, neither the good nor the bad.”
This sad complaint conforms to the past messages of Our Lady.
In the 1600s, Our Lady of Good Success told a Conceptionist nun in Quito, Ecuador, that in the 20th century “unfaithful religious, who under the appearance of virtue and bad-spirited zeal, would turn upon Religion, which nourished them at its breast.” Our thoughts turn immediately to those religious who left the Church to follow the Novus Ordo progressivist agenda.
In the Message of La Salette she warned in 1856: “Woe to priests, and to persons consecrated to God, who by their infidelities and their evil lives are crucifying my Son anew.”
She also said this very significant line: “Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.”
Certainly the present day Pope – along with the six that preceded him – can represent the Antichrist who comes to fool the people and destroy the Holy Church.
The role of Elias
In the Old Testament, we find that most perfect Prophet Elias, the first Carmelite. To save souls, God sent him to warn the 10 northern Tribes of Israel that they were breaking the laws of Moses. Because they did not listen to him, their capital Samaria was taken by the Assyrians and they were taken away as prisoners in the Captivity of Nineveh in 722 B.C.
Our Lady came to Fatima in 1917 like the Prophet Elias to call Catholics who were already straying from the true path back to Faith of our fathers. The Hierarchy of the Church starting with the Popes did not want to obey Our Lady of Fatima and the consequences of their lack of action led millions of Catholics to lose their faith.
The beast from the sea & the return of Elias
It seems that now we are in the presence of the Antichrist.
Chapter XII of the Apocalypse informs us that the seven-headed beast coming up out of the sea, is the Antichrist as foretold by the Prophet Daniel. Could it not be that this beast represents Progressivism to which the seven Popes who prepared the way for Vatican II and implemented it adhered?
As Fr. Berry points out: “The coming of Antichrist opens the decisive conflict between the Church and powers of Hell. It shall be the complete realization of the prophecy of Genesis: 'I shall put enmities between thee and the woman and thy seed and her seed.” (The Apocalypse of St. John, pp. 88-89)
It is the “decisive battle” the Devil will wage against the Blessed Virgin that Sister Lucy told Fr. Fuentes would happen in our days.
The reign of Antichrist and his prophet will be a true renewal of Paganism throughout the world. In fact, there will be a complete organization of a church of Satan set up in opposition to the Church of Christ.
To help us save souls and win this battle against the Antichrist (Mt 6:9), God will send Elias again just as he did in 772 B.C.
The Message of La Salette notes also that when “the Church will be eclipsed and the world will be in consternation,” then God will send Elias and Enoch, who “will preach with the power of God, and men of good will believe in God, and many souls will be comforted.” They will publicly condemn the diabolical errors of the Antichrist.
Having fulfilled their mission, the two Prophets will be put to death by the Antichrist. For three days and a half, the bodies of the martyred Prophets shall lie unburied in the streets of Jerusalem “where Our Lord was crucified centuries before.”
But then the two Prophets will rise again and be taken up to Heaven, and Jerusalem will be shaken with a mighty earthquake where a multitude will perish and a 10th part of the city will be destroyed.
An Angel exhorts all to turn to the God of Heaven and Earth because the day of judgment is at hand.
As Fr. Berry points out, this is not the Final Judgment of the last day. (p. 98) Rather, it is the Judgment of Nations that Scriptures speaks of, the judgment that will fall upon Antichrist and his followers.
A second Angel announces the approaching fall of Babylon, which is the progressivist Rome, the seat of the False Prophet and the capital of a neo-pagan empire. Rome will seduce other Gentile nations to worship the Antichrist. Those who have lived through the second half of the 20th century might recognize this as Vatican II.
A third Angel threatens all followers of Antichrist with eternal damnation. They will be punished with all the rigors of God's infinite justice untempered by mercy. The wine of wrath shall be poured into the cup unmixed with the water of mercy. (pp. 98-99) This is the Great Chastisement.

Our Lady can no longer hold back the hand of justice of her Divine Son
