Communion denied to a Catholic at the Vatican
The two GIFs on this page show a traditionalist Catholic who approaches a priest to receive Communion, kneels to receive the Host on his tongue, and then is denied the Blessed Sacrament by the priest. The episode took place on January 5, 2023, during the Funeral Mass of Benedict XVI.It is a symbolic denial that speaks of the persecution that is in motion against Catholics who do not receive Communion in the hand, attend the Traditional Mass and do not accept the New Mass as well as Vatican II with the changes it introduced into the Church.
