Vatican promotes liturgical dance
The Pontifical Missionary Works, a Secretariat of the Holy See, established Holy Childhood Day on February 2 in honor of the Presentation of Our Lord in the Temple.For practical reasons in Nigeria, this feast was transferred to Sunday, January 30, 2022. A Mass was celebrated on that day in St. Gabriel Chapel, above. Fr. Solomon Zaku invited a group of dancing children to join him at the altar as part of the liturgy.
Below, we see that these innocent children were led down the aisle by a dancing nun and an exuberant dancing/singing teacher.
