A new Pope in the making?
Cardinal Rodriguez Maradiaga, Archbishop of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, has been listed among the papabile, that is, as one of the probable candidates for the Papacy.
Very favorable to Liberation Theology, he has often been in the spotlight on social issues. He also represents a Prelate adapted to the modern world, as tailored by Vatican II. Above two close-ups of Maradiaga performing with jazz bands.
Will he be the successor of Benedict XVI?
