I just read Elaine Jordan's "Dos and Don'ts" about Princess Marie of Denmark wearing baseball caps on official visits.
WHAT? Nothing about Donald Trump wearing a baseball cap in the Oval Office, during the transfer of service members' remains, etc. etc. etc?

Trump has broken the good customs of a civilized society in so many ways that to point out only his obsessive and indecorous habit of donning a baseball cap could appear that we agree with the rest.
If we were to expose all his protocol breaches, we would need to write an encyclopedia.

Emptying the Schism
I just read that Pope Leo XIV sent a letter to the French Bishops encouraging them to allow the Traditional Latin Mass (’62 Missal, of course).
Sometime ago, his nuncio to the UK had predicted that he would do this.
By rushing to allow the TLM, Pope Prevost is cutting the grass under the SSPX’s feet which imagined it would rally all the traditionalists under their flag and lead them all into schism.
If that Argentinian priest who leads SSPX really thought that he would bring the Vatican to its knees with threats and violence, he needs to re-learn his strategic handbook.
I would not be surprised if, parallel to this liberalization of the TLM, the Vatican could now be suggesting to Bishop Fellay to break with the schism and unite with Rome, thus bringing his own followers like he did on the 2025 pilgrimage he led to the Jubilee.
Come to your own conclusions reading the article I am attaching to this message.

In a message to the French bishops’ conference, Pope Leo XIV called for “concrete solutions” to permit the “generous inclusion” of Catholics attached to the Traditional Latin Mass.
A March 18 letter sent by Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin on behalf of Pope Leo encourages the French bishops’ conference to embrace liturgical diversity and find ways to include “those sincerely attached to the Vetus Ordo.”
It has largely been expected that Pope Leo would eventually lift restrictions on the celebration of the preconciliar liturgy, which were imposed by Pope Francis in 2021. Parolin’s letter is a clear indication that Pope Leo wishes local bishops to move quickly to that end.
The letter says that the pope is “particularly attentive” to the bishops’ discussion on the liturgy, “in the context of the growth of communities bound to the Vetus Ordo.”
“It is troubling that a painful wound concerning the celebration of Mass, the very sacrament of unity, continues to open in the Church,” the letter says.
To heal this wound, it continues, a “new perspective” is needed. The letter says a fresh perspective, “with a greater understanding of each other’s sensitivities, is certainly necessary; a perspective that can allow brothers, enriched by their diversity, to welcome one another in charity and the unity of faith.”
“May the Holy Spirit suggest to you concrete solutions that will allow for the generous inclusion of those sincerely attached to the Vetus Ordo, in accordance with the guidelines established by the Second Vatican Council regarding the Liturgy,” the letter concludes.

Two Messianisms at War
We all know that Israel is using this war as part of its goal to establish the Great Israel, which according to their rabbis is a requirement for the coming of their messiah.
Now, what we don’t know is that Iran also is using this war for messianic reasons. Instead of elaborating on the topic, I'm just sending you this recent article (below) which gives the general lines of it.
So, when I hear people saying that this war is over freedom for women and oil prices I think: “they are completely out of touch…”

(End of the American Dream) – For a lot of people, this war with Iran is not just another war. Millions of Shiite Muslims all over the world are convinced that this is the war that will result in the rise of the Mahdi. In fact, most of Iran’s key leaders are eagerly watching for the appearance of the Mahdi. So why would they give up if they actually believe that the Mahdi is going to show up at any moment?
To them, that wouldn’t make any sense at all. On the other side, there are millions of Christians all over the world that believe that this war with Iran is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Of course there is a tremendous amount of debate within Christian circles about which passages of the Bible are actually being fulfilled. But if this war with Iran is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy, we should expect other major events to soon follow.
According to someone that once knew Mojtaba Khamenei very well, Iran’s new supreme leader is “obsessed with the end of days”…
It comes as another source, a former study partner of Mojtaba, revealed that the new Supreme Leader is said to be ‘obsessed with the end of days’ and is ‘more dangerous’ than his father.
The man that is making this claim is an exiled Iranian official named Jaber Rajabi.
He says that Mojtaba truly believes that his destiny is to “have a special part” in ushering in the return of the Mahdi…
While studying with Mojtaba at The Qom Seminary – the most highly regarded centre for Islamic scholarship in Iran – Rajabi described him as ‘obsessed with the end of days’ and that he believed ‘he himself will have a special part in hastening humanity down that path’.
According to Twelver Shia – the largest branch of Shia Islam studied by Khamenei at Qom – the 12th Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, who is believed to be in hiding, will return at the end of times to establish a period of global justice in which oppression is eradicated.
Islamic apocalyptic traditions describe major conflicts happening before this era, including the Malhama al-Kubra – a great battle sometimes interpreted as a confrontation with Western powers.
If Mojtaba and other Iranian leaders are convinced that this war with the United States and Israel is actually “the Malhama al-Kubra”, why in the world would they ever give up?
From their perspective, that would be unthinkable.
It is so important to see this war from their perspective.
They believe that the U.S. and Israel represent everything that is evil, and they are also waiting for the imminent arrival of the Mahdi.
So there will be no surrender.
In fact, one expert is claiming that the Iranians will never surrender “in a million years”…
Citrinowicz said that if the war ended today, he would not consider it a victory for the U.S. “because the regime is not going to capitulate, not in a million years.”
“As long as this regime is there, [there will be] no unconditional surrender,” he said, adding that the regime is not going to give up its missile or nuclear capacity.
He said the new supreme leader could instead “cross the Rubicon towards a nuclear bomb.” According to Citrinowicz, the late ayatollah “was afraid to cross that threshold,” though he pushed to enrich uranium.
According to Twelver theology, a very evil figure must appear on the scene before the arrival of that Mahdi.
That very evil figure is known as “the Dajjal”.
As I discussed in a piece that I published earlier this month, many Shiite leaders have become convinced that Donald Trump is “the Dajjal”.
And Twelver Shiites also believe that the Mahdi is supposed to kill “the Dajjal” once he arrives.
Are you starting to understand why the Iranians view this war completely differently than we do?

I strongly believe that the illegal consecration of Bishops by SSPX is convenient for the progressivists:
- They will label all seriousTraditionalists as schismatics by the guilt of a few;
- Papal jurisdiction will be attacked from the traditionalist side;
- The general chaos will increase, causing still more confusion.
The Jesuits accepted the suppression of the Society of Jesus without problems and did not raise the flag of state of necessity.The battle must be fought inside the Catholic Church; not by forming a parallel church.
