Gemma Galgani & Judaism on Abortion
Propers for the Mass in Honor of St Gemma Galgani
Dear Brothers in Christ,
Greetings from Greece. I am looking for the traditional Latin text of the Propers for the Mass in honor of St. Gemma Galgani. Do you have that text?
Sincerely,
In Christo per Mariam
Fr. D.H., Greece
TIA responds:
Rev. Fr. D.H.,
We looked on the Internet but unfortunately we found nothing that could help you.
In our library we do not have the Propers for the Mass of St. Gemma Galgani.
Cordially,
TIA correspondence desk

Poem by St. Louis de Montfort
Dear TIA,
I want to share a beautiful poem written by St. Louis de Montfort:
"Divine Wisdom, I love Thee unto folly.
I am Thy lover.
Thou alone in this world I seek,
Thou alone I desire.
I am a man gone mad with love,
Forever chasing Thee.
Tell me who Thou art,
For I am half blind.
I can discern only
That Thou art a secret I must fathom.
Show Thyself fully to my soul
Which dies for love of Thee.
Where dost Thou live,
Wisdom Divine?
Must I cross continents or seas
To find Thee,
Or fly across the skies?
I am ready to go wherever Thou art,
Not counting the costs, to possess Thee."
In Maria,
S.J.

Pro-Lifers' Action Required
TIA,
Pro-lifers Need to Send the "Supreme Court" a Clear Message - "Outlaw not Regulate Abortion"
Pro-lifers need to send a clear message to the “United States Supreme Court” [The real Supreme Court is God] . That message is “Outlaw not Regulate Abortion.”
Since abortion is the deliberate killing of an unborn child - who has committed no crime that deserves the death penalty - the real issue the court is facing is not about “regulating” the killing of an innocent human being whatever his stage of gestation, but rather “outlawing” the killing of an innocent human being.”

The Church of England & Its Moral Confusion
TIA,
For your 'Absurd Moral Confusions' section
This BBC article, together with its startlingly absurd headline - "Priest who had two abortions says women need choice" - is a good illustration of the unmitigated moral confusion of Western society and what passes for the 'established' Church of England these days.
Likewise are the pictures of the self-righteous female that thinks she is a priest contained in the article.
God bless

Jewish Reaction to Roe v. Wade Overturn
Dear TIA,
These tweets going around online in response to the Roe v. Wade potential overturn reveal that Judaism is pro-abortion.
The level of openness these Jews have about how “abortion is part of their religion” is shocking...
The last photo shows that the Judaic law does not consider a fetus to be human.
In Jesu et Maria,
I.C.

Re: The Power of St Gemma's Gaze
It sounds like the reader wants a good read on St. Gemma Galgani.
I wish to offer a general warning. She is one of my favorite Saints. I even had a first class relic of hers that was given to a man who travels with relics so that others may enjoy her. So I want to say that -- as with MANY religious works -- there are good texts and not so good texts.
The one in specific that concerns me is one I ultimately threw away. It was a book that claimed to have the notes from the Holy Saint's canonization process -- which is what drew me to the book in the first place [both because of her and because I wanted to see something of a canonization process]. I barely got through the first pages before I realized something was wrong. I did not finish the book because it appeared to dismiss her.
I would stick with something like the Autobiography (a very small text) or the text by Venerable Fr. Germanus.
