FYI. TRANSHUMANISM, relation to COVID:
Transhumanism is silly, you say? Absurd? No one buys it, or even heard of it?
Think again. Especially the current COVID genetically engineered messenger-RNA vaccines do actually accomplish some Transhuman goals by changing the functioning of your mitochondrial DNA (part of the human genome) and that of all your future generations!
Transhumanism, or how to become "immortal" by ultimately ditching our evil material bodies so we can fuse with our digital computers and become non-material POST-humans (i.e., not a member of the human species) and thus fuse with the immaterial Singularity ("Cosmic Consciousness"), is now mainstream, being achieved little by little by little. (Many involved with the current COVID vaccines proudly articulate that they are transhumanists, e.g., Bill Gates, Soros, Fauci et al!). Note below the connections with Silicon Valley in California (including Google) and the Russians.
The contemporary meaning of the term "transhumanism" was foreshadowed by one of the first professors of futurology, a man who changed his name to FM-2030. In the 1960s, he taught "new concepts of the human" at The New School when he began to identify people who adopt technologies, lifestyles and worldviews "transitional" to posthumanity as "transhuman."
The assertion would lay the intellectual groundwork for the British philosopher Max More to begin articulating the principles of transhumanism as a futurist philosophy in 1990, and organizing in California a school of thought that has since grown into the worldwide transhumanist movement.
Transhumanism is fundamentally a form of eugenics, historically grounded in ancient Gnosticism -- the original source of Eugenics! All forms of Gnosticism are pantheistic, polytheistic, paganistic “cosmologies” -- all based on MYTHS -- which have grounded eugenics, anti-Semitism, population control, deconstruction of the natural sciences, etc., going back in formal documents to at least 5000 BC and the ancient myth of Okeanus.

In describing transhumanism as “the world’s most dangerous idea”, political scientist Francis Fukuyama noted:
The seeming reasonableness of the project, particularly when considered in small increments, is part of its danger. Society is unlikely to fall suddenly under the spell of the transhumanist worldview. But it is very possible that we will nibble at biotechnology's tempting offerings without realizing that they come at a frightful moral cost.

Note especially the Russian Transhumanist Party (ZOYS), here. The historic roots are not Soviet Communism but rather Russian “cosmism”, which was the Russian rendition of ancient gnostic “religion” for centuries until recently (based on mythology of how to become “immortal” by becoming “posthuman”).

I recently came across this disturbing video from America Magazine.
The video explains that, whereas previous Popes focused on doctrine, Pope Francis is aiming to "welcome" homosexual Catholics. As an example of this, they mention that he hired an openly-homosexual man for a prominent Vatican position and also that he supports civil unions for same-sex couples.
