Christ's Presence in Novus Ordo Masses
TIA,
I believe I am a devout Roman Catholic. I am a big follower/ believer of Our Lady of Fatima. I am devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary. My wife and I understand the chastisements we are witnessing due to our bad shepherds ignoring the messages of LaSalette, Knock, Fatima, Akita, etc. I have a question which no one seems willing to answer; especially so called "Trads." Could you help me?
First, recall the prayer of St. Michael the Archangel at Fatima when he says, "... I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the same Son, Jesus Christ present in all the Tabernacles of the world, in reparation for all the sacrileges, outrages, and indifferences by which He Himself is offended..."
My question is this: Presuming that: (1) the priests are truly "consecrated priests"; and (2) the Consecration is done adequately in the Novus Ordo Mass, is Jesus Christ present in the Holy Tabernacle?
If He is, He must surely suffer from the sacrileges, outrages and indifferences that exist, as the late Fr. Hesse says in the "intrinsically evil" Novus Ordo Masses.
Yet, He is present, no?
My wife and I are not within a 100 miles of a Latin Traditional Mass, and that one is done by the St. Pius V priest. All we have in central Pennsylvania is the "odious" Novus Ordo (as Jesus told Marie-Julie Jahenny).
After much contemplation and Rosaries and Devotions, my wife and I decided to attend the Novus Ordo Mass for the explicit purpose of sitting near the Holy Tabernacle, worshipping God and praying to Jesus Christ Whom we believe is present in the Holy Tabernacle - and hopefully to receive Him worthily at Holy Communion. I stand, kneel and sit facing the Holy Tabernacle, not the Altar. I refuse to watch and listen to all the nonsense, poor teaching, sacrilege, indifference and blasphemy that occurs there.
I am a creature of habit for better or worse. If the bad shepherd-priest "crosses the Rubicon" and openly supports divorcees, homosexuals, protestants and other very obscene false teachings, I will stand up and dispute him publicly in church. Yes, they preach falsehoods, but I am attempting to visit Christ in the Holy Tabernacle and suffer with Him. Yet, I know that ultimately, I will have to publicly defend the Faith. The anti-pope Francis assures me that this will happen. I believe I am ready.
Thank you for your response to my question.

Your message contains three questions, which we distinguish for the sake of clarity:
- You inquire whether or not Our Lord is present in the Novus Ordo Masses and, consequently, in the Novus Ordo
tabernacles;
- In the case that He is present, you ask whether or not you should or could visit Him there to make reparation
for the outrages He suffers;
- You query whether you should or could publicly challenge the priest during Mass in case he allows scandalous behavior such as homosexuals and divorcees to be present or when he teaches blatantly false doctrine.
- We believe that, normally speaking, the sacraments in the Novus Ordo Masses are valid. In other words, the priest was validly ordained, the consecration is valid and, therefore, Our Lord is present there.
This general rule, however, must be confirmed for each particular case, because there are many priests who have gone so far in their abuses that a serious doubt of the validity of their masses exists. - We believe that you may go to the church to make reparation. We do not think that every Traditionalist Catholic should do so, but we think that it is understandable that you do this as an exception, answering a particular call to you.
We suggest you to do this after Mass so that your prayers can reach Our Lord in silence and recollection. - We believe you should not be present during Mass and challenge the priest for various reasons:
- The Novus Ordo Mass has a
flavor of Protestantism and Catholics should avoid favoring it;
- It would be much more efficient for you to make a public denunciation of his wrong doctrines afterwards than to dispute with him as he speaks;
- The same applies to the scandalous permissions he may give to homosexuals and divorcees to be present or take part in the Mass. An action taken after the event is more efficient than to raise a verbal dispute during it;
- The attendance of other persons at the Novus Ordo Masses falls under the civil right of religious liberty and if you regularly disturb this ceremony and/or the sermon of the priest in the church you go, the priest may call the police and you may find yourself in legal trouble – either having to pay a large fee or even go to jail – for denying others the right to practice in peace their beliefs.
- The Novus Ordo Mass has a
flavor of Protestantism and Catholics should avoid favoring it;

St. Anthony's Miracle of the Birds
Dear TIA,
On this June 13, feast day of St. Anthony of Padua, also known as St. Anthony of Lisbon [Antônio de Lisboa] since he was born in Portugal, this popular song of Honduras in honor of the Saint comes to my mind.
It celebrates a miracle he worked for a boy named Antonio, who ordered all the birds of his area to enter a room and not eat the seeds his father had sown in his fields.
Listen to the song in Spanish here – Lyrics and English translation are below.

The Argentine Chamber of Deputies voted – in a close vote – this morning to legalize abortion in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy; the bill now goes to the Senate. President Macri has already said he won't veto the bill if Congress approve it.
Where is the Argentine Pope in this intense debate on abortion in his country? A good question. In short, he isn't present.
Silent. Silent, before, during and after. Not even a comment. Instead he was tweeting warm greetings to the soccer team and supporters gathering for the first day at Football (soccer) Championship in Russia. His tweet:
"I send cordial greetings to the football players and those following the World Cup Football Championship that began today in Russia. I hope that the sports event will be an authentic occasion of encounter and fraternity.
He did not find the time to speak even a word against abortion to his Catholic countrymen, but he had plenty of time already this week to call for protection for migrants, remind Catholics to never forget the Shoah and its "atrocious violence" against Jews, and to "listen to" and "free" the poor.
Incredible! What about the poor innocents being slaughtered in the womb?
Is this attitude not an implicit approval of abortion?
