Paul VI's Homosexuality
Dear Tradition in Action,
I have just read your astonishing article on Pope Paul VI! Can this be true?
Has any more information come to light since you published this?
Thank you,
Best wishes,
P.S.
TIA responds:
Dear P.S.,
It is really astonishing. As far we know, to this date no serious refutation came to light about what Prof. Bellegrandi stated in his the book on Paul VI’s homosexuality.
Nonetheless, Paul VI was made a blessed by Francis, and all seems to be prepared to make him a saint. By this example, we can evaluate the degree of seriousness of these processes of canonization in the Conciliar Church.
Cordially,

Washing Women’s Feet
TIA,
The blog by progressivist Catholic Christopher Lamb writing in Rome says it all about the new invention of Pope Francis: To wash the feet of women during the Last Supper ceremony at Maundy Thursday.
M.G.
Pope Francis has now asked that the foot-washing ceremony, which takes place during the Mass of the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, can include women (a decree from the Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments was issued today to that effect).
There will, however, be many liturgical traditionalists left unhappy by this move. They were pretty outraged in 2013 when, soon after his election, Francis washed the feet of two women prisoners, including one Muslim during the Holy Thursday liturgy.
As Christ only washed the feet of his male disciples they argue the ceremony should copy that. The rubrics of Pope Pius XII, issued 1955, also state that only males should have their feet washed by priests. Now the Pope has widened participation to all “the People of God.” But what is the real reason traditionalists are unhappy?
Fr Paul Gunter OSB, secretary of the Department for Christian Life and Worship, told The Tablet in 2013 that: “Jesus performed the Washing of the Feet when he gave his mandatum to the 12 Apostles. Since the occasion was intrinsically attached to the institution of the priesthood, the gesture was not incomplete because of its not being extended to women.”
By extending the ceremony to women Francis is seen as allowing women to participate in Christ’s priesthood. In truth, the Vatican ruling is unlikely to have a major impact on parishes because many of them have been washing the feet of women for years. And when he was in Argentina Pope Francis regularly had female participants in his Holy Thursday liturgy.
What the Holy See has done is rubber stamp current practice. It also continues a trend in this papacy of upsetting traditionalists - those who like things done the way they always have. But he doesn’t seem to mind. During his daily homily on Tuesday the Pope said “Christians who obstinately maintain ‘it’s always been done this way,’…they sin” adding: “the Christian who is obstinate sins!”

Stop Dishonoring St. Patrick!
The Catholic Action League of Massachusetts and MassResistance are urging the Allied War Veterans Council of South Boston – the organizers of Boston's St. Patrick's Day/Evacuation Day Parade – to remove the name of St. Patrick from the event, as it no longer has any meaningful connection to the Catholic Religion of the Apostle of Ireland.
Having succumbed to political pressure orchestrated by Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Congressman Stephen Lynch, a suborned minority on the Veterans Council has callously betrayed everything that the late Council Commander John J. "Wacko" Hurley stood for and fought for, and has improvidently discarded his hard won 9 to 0 victory before the U. S. Supreme Court (which gave them the right to include or exclude any groups).
As a result, two neo-pagan homosexual organizations will become permanent fixtures in a parade dedicated to the saint who delivered, in a single lifetime, an entire nation from the darkness of paganism. One group is OUTVETS, an organization contrived for the sole purpose of imposing itself on a parade in honor of a Catholic saint. The other group, Boston Pride, is the organizer of the city's repulsive, pornographic "gay pride" parade.
Permitting homosexual groups to march destroys the traditional character of the parade, erases whatever remains of its Catholic identity, and reduces it to a secularized cultural carnival. It has also driven faithful Catholics away, including Immaculate Heart of Mary School, whose float of St. Patrick blessing the children was, for two decades, the iconic image of the parade.
OUTVETS and Boston Pride have no interest in honoring St. Patrick for bringing the Catholic Faith to Ireland. For them, Catholicism is an enemy to be defeated. They are exploiting the name of a Catholic saint to promote public acceptance of their sexual behavior and anti-Christian ideology.
It is impossible and dishonest to honor St. Patrick by showcasing those who not only express pride in rejecting the religion and morality of St. Patrick, but who castigate those beliefs as bigotry, hatred, and homophobia.
Please join us signing this petition urging the Veterans Council to stop dishonoring Saint Patrick and remove his name from the anti-Catholic spectacle which will occur on March 20th – Palm Sunday!

Well, it looks like Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York finally got something right. Speaking at Washington University in St. Louis, Dolan noted the three attributes essential to good leadership: "A soul, a mind and heart."
Then he pointed to the past three popes as models of the attributes for the progressivist Church: "Let me propose St. Pope John Paul II personified the soul, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI the mind and Pope Francis the heart."
He's right, of course. All three were progressivist in their policies, all three shaped / are shaping a "new church." The soul, mind and heart in one single body - the Novus Ordo Church of Vatican II.
BTW, true to course as a great joker, Dolan got laughs and applause throughout his speech.
A fan of TIA and loyal Catholic faithful to the Magisterium,
G.S.
