Private Sins & Letter to Jorge
Dancing Franciscans
Dear TIA,
I am sending you two links to videos of Italian Franciscans performing public dances. They are both Franciscans men and women. It seems to me quite contradictory that religious men and women, who abandoned the world to exclusively serve God, return to the life they rejected in order to be popular and enjoy the world.
Do those words of Our Lord – “the dog returns to its vomit” – apply to these cases?
The videos can be watched here and here.

Give Proof that Bishop Mayer Was Not Sedevacantist
Dear TIA,
I am a regular contributor to Cathinfo.com (i.e., a Resistance forum which of late is being overrun by sedevacantists).
A current thread is featuring contentions by sedevacantists that Bishop Antonio Castro de Mayer was sedevacantist (i.e., they allege he told several people at the 1988 consecration ceremony in Econe that “there is no Pope.”)
This thread can be found here.
Against this contention of the sedes, another poster found this excerpt on the TIA website:
“It is certain that Msgr. Lefebvre was not sedevacantist, and it is equally certain that neither was Bishop de Castro Mayer. We have the audio tape of the speech of Msgr. de Castro Mayer, given at Econe circa June 27, 1988, that shows he was not sede-vacantist, as many have tried to prove. A translation of the speech was also published in Catholic.”
The TIA webpage where this excerpt is found is located here.
Question: Could you please email me an English translation of the speech Bishop Antonio de Castro Mayer made which your site says proves he is not a sedevacantist?
And could you also point me to a citation from the Catholic newspaper in which you say it was published?
This would greatly help us in our efforts against the sedevacantist deceivers.
Pax tecum,
Sean Johnson
The Editor responds:
Dear Mr. Sean Johnson,
If you will read more carefully the mentioned statement about Bishop Mayer, you will see that it was not made by any writer of TIA. It was made by Mr. Don McLean, Editor of Catholic.
I believe you should address your request to him and not to us.
Cordially,
Atila S. Guimarães, editor of TIA website

A Third Franciscan's Letter to a Jesuit Pope
Jorge,
It is an agonizing crisis of conscience to accept you as a Pope. In typically overbearing Jesuitical fashion, you follow your ignorant and disordered emotions rather than the dogmas of Our Lord Jesus Christ. One must be exceedingly arrogant to act so humble. Of course, millions of ignorant people accept your unCatholic beliefs, because likewise they refuse to follow the dogmas of Our Lord.
You need to learn the first three Commandments (Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5). Your constant, progressivist and marxist undermining of the Church betrays these Commandments every day. Following your “New Age” and “liberation theology” terminology, you make a “mess” of them. Catholics have always been taught to develop an informed conscience, not the continual “mess” of uninformed feelings and instincts.
In former times, people who disagreed with the Church simply abandoned her, and joined a false religion within which they worship themselves. It is both disheartening and astounding that you remain in the Church simply to undermine and destroy her. Please, leave our beautiful Church - the spotless bride of Christ, spotless and without wrinkle - and continue to reinvent your own messy “ecclesial reality” somewhere else.
You encourage the tragic, misguided youth around the world to “make a mess.” You have abandoned the magnificent theological foundation based on Jesus’ words, a foundation reinforced by centuries of brilliant and devout Popes, Saints and Doctors. Our Lord will hold you responsible for the Faith of millions of Catholic souls. You are a smorgasbord pagan, picking and choosing from nothing but your arrogant and disordered narcissism. Your term for those who love and follow Christ is “ideology.” What an ignorant statement! Among other things, Jesus said:
Catholics concentrate on Almighty God, day and night, never knowing when they will meet their Maker. True Catholics recognize sin in themselves and in others. From moment to moment, Christ condemns contraception, abortion, sodomy, fornication and many other abominations. Abortions continue unabated. Our reaction against these crimes must remain unabated!
The preceding sins disobey the Sixth and Ninth Commandments. I tremble to imagine your reaction to sins against the other eight Commandments. Why should we ignore our eternal obligations toward God in order to please your disordered subjectivity? Why do you not condemn what Christ condemns? Why do you attempt to cancel our eternal obligations to Almighty God? Why do you want to leave us vulnerable to the forces of Hell?
Almighty God knows that John XXIII and John Paul II are not saints. Why do you slap Him in the face with presumptuous and scandalous ceremonies? And it seems better to me to be a saint and continue to have a chance for eternal salvation rather than a “saint” out of Hell.

In debates with different views of ‘religious’ people online concerning sinful cohabitation of couples, be they heterosexual or homosexual, one thing seems to stand out. Although anti-religious people see no wrong involved, the ‘religious’ folks claim agreement about the ‘sinfulness’ of these situations. But nearly all proclaim to ‘not care’ what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home.
Certainly the right to privacy exists and should be respected, but why don’t they care? It is my contention that Catholics, like myself, should care very much. Why ? Simply because if anyone is living in a sinful situation, including ourselves, it is most displeasing to Our Lord, and, if something is a cause of sorrow to Our Lord, it should certainly cause us concern as well.
We condone sinful activity with our apathy. May Our Lady give us strength through Her Holy Rosary.
