Suenens, Lucy & JPII at the Synagogue

Suenens in a Phallic Ceremony

Dear Atila,

Regarding your reader who asked about Suenens and the phallic question:

There is quite a revelation about Cardinal Suenens from Pro Life writer Randy Engel who wrote in The McHugh Chronicles:

"In 1970, Cardinal Suenes, a future leader of the Charismatic Movement, made the international press scandal sheets when he attended a progresssivist Theological Congress on Sex, held at a Franciscan Church in Brussels, at which avant garde facilitators floated a giant plastic phallus (male reproductive organ) up from the altar at the end of the youth-dominated Congress, sending their adolescent delegates into a state of pandemonium!!”

This quote is in the last paragraph of page iii of the PDF file of Randy Engel's book McHugh Chronicles, which can be read here.

The citation in note 16, which is in page iv, states: "Piers Compton, The Broken Cross, Veritas Publishers, Western Australia, 1984, p. 134. The report on the Youth Congress was published by the Belgian News Service and quoted in Il Giornale d'Italia, September 17, 1970."

Plenary Indulgences via Twitter…

TIA,

How nice! Modern indulgences from a twitter tweet pope!

However, I'm not sure this is valid.

Check for yourself here.

Underground Church in China

Dear Marian,

I have been reading a book, Joy in Suffering by Rose Hu who was put in Chinese prisons (1955) and labor camps for 26 years by the Communists. Her crime was NOT to give up the Catholic Faith. The first time she was arrested was because she was a member and leader of the Legion of Mary and also knew Cardinal Kung.

In the book, Rose gives a vivid account of her experience plus how her Catholic Faith kept her strong. Some of her examples in the book are good to remember if and when we may be asked to deny the Faith.

Here is a link to an article about a nun who died in a prison labor camp and a process of being declared a saint has been started. Rose was in the labor camp at the time and was very well acquainted with Mother Shi.

     God bless,

     M.E.

Macrina the Younger

Greetings in the name of our Lord!

I have one question that I am hoping you can help me with. Do you know where I can buy an Icon of Macrina the Younger? My wife did her PhD on the women that surrounded the Cappidocian Fathers and Macrina was her favorite.

Any advice you could give me would be appreciated.

     Thank you very much.

TIA responds:

Greetings C.S.,

We do not know where you can buy an icon pf St. Macrina, but perhaps you can print one, following this procedure.

Go to “Google search” and type St. Macrina the Younger. Then, in the Google bar, choose “images.” Some 30 different icons will appear on your screen. You may choose the one you like the most and check whether or not it exists in higher resolution and is in the public domain.

The next step would be to copy it and take to be printed at Kinko’s or some store with high-tech printers and then give it to your wife.

We hope you will be successful in this initiative.

‘Explaining’ JPII’s Visit to the Synagogue

TIA,

To understand JPII's visit to Rome's synagogue one must understand that this was done under the influence of his long time childhood friend, Jerzy Kruger, the son of a Rabbi. More about this friendship can be seen on these two video clips here and here.

Secondly, Pope John Paul II was himself a product of a mixed marriage. His mother was Jewish. This is an in depth look into Pope John Paul II's Jewish roots on p. 22 of the PDF file by Father Villa, here.

Thirdly, according to the scientific classification of races and DNA analysis, world Jewery has almost been entirely assimilated into other races with 95% being from the Russian Kazar region. For a more thorough understanding of this historical development read "The Thirteenth Tribe" by Arthur Koestler.

Furthermore, Nazi anti-Semitism was identified and condemned by the future Pope Pius XII (Cardinal Eugene Pacelli) for its being a pagan ideology based on race. As Pope, he stated as the Supreme Authority of the Catholic Church in his encyclical Summi Pontificatus the basic unity of all mankind is having the same origin, God the Father, and sharing equally the same human nature as descendants of Adam and Eve.

Finally, there are Jews who claim that the betrayal of the Jews in Germany was actually perpetrated by their own people, the Zionists. here.

On the other hand, the Vatican, under the leadership of Pope Pius XII, worked feverishly to avoid an outbreak of war. Also, with the Nazi occupation of Rome, great efforts were made under his leadership to save the Jews from the occupiers, here.

I also want to make note that the leading Rabbi of Rome converted to Catholicism due to the holy influence of Pope Pius XII.

As far as the Church Father's being Nazi's, as someone stated in your Hate Mail, modern Judaism is a product of the non-converted Jews who, after the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, continued the stance of the High Priest and the Pharasitical Jews against the claims of the Catholic Church concerning Christ and, thereby, organized synagogues accordingly. The Church Father's spoke about this as "the mystery of iniquity" that God has permitted. Never did the Church Father's call for the extermination of the Jews which would have been easily done in the early centuries, given the large military resources of the Christian armies.

Therefore, those who condemn as 'anti Semitic' any legitimate discourse and analysis of the complexity of Jewish Catholic relations throughout European history are, in fact, the ones who are guilty of racism.
