More than Migrants… Drug Lords, Terrorists &
Russian Bombers Cross U.S. Territory

May 16, 2006 - U.S. President George W. Bush unveiled his plans to defend America's borders - and none too soon. So far the United States is able to keep out invading foreign armies, but little else. Heavily armed drug dealers, Chinese Communist thug enforcers, Cuban intelligence operatives, and Russian bombers have all recently crossed U.S. borders without hesitation.

The porous U.S. borders gives rise to the sad and dangerous situation that we, as a nation, have no idea who is in the nation, why they are here, or how many of them there are.
Along with hard working individuals seeking honest work and a better life are untold numbers who have contempt for the United States, and do not hide it.
Drug gangs regularly operate across U.S. borders, and often have close ties with anti-American revolutionaries active in Latin America, especially in Colombia. Often illegal drugs sold in the U.S. are grown and processed by what the media calls "leftist rebels," but who are, in reality, doctrinaire Communist partisans. The largest of the Communist rebel armies is the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, (Spanish acronym, FARC), which runs one of the world's largest cocaine production and supply operations.
The cost and availability of cocaine may soon substantially decrease. There is speculation that newly elected Evo Morales of Bolivia, who is in sympathy with the political ideology of the FARC, will attempt to expand the cultivation of the coca plant, the source for cocaine. America's untended borders offer a tremendous opportunity to send ever-larger amounts of cocaine into the U.S.
The plan supposes that increased profits will be accompanied by additional numbers of addicted Americans, and a growing instability within the United States.
Along with drugs and illegal immigrants come those who have a purely political dislike of the U.S. From Communist Cuba to Al Qaeda, individuals seeking to undermine or destroy American society and government are crossing our borders.
Robert Spencer, author of The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and several other important books on militant Islam, stated in a soon to be published interview with International News Analysis that American landowners on the Arizona-Mexican border have found evidence of Al-Qaeda infiltrators crossing their land.
Several militant Islamic networks are known to be working with Marxist Cuba and Venezuela. Both Havana and Caracas support Al-Qaeda, Hamas, and the uranium-enriched Islamic Republic of Iran. Cuban intelligence, which directs its activities primarily against the United States, has already explored vulnerable points along the U.S. seacoast. Cuban agents are constantly attempting to monitor the movements of U.S. ships and military personnel in the Caribbean.

The U.S. prides itself as the refuge of dissidents fleeing tyranny, but uncontrolled access to U.S. borders is endangering those who come here for freedom. On February 8, 2006, Dr. Peter Yuan Li, an anti-communist activist, was beaten by two "Asian-looking" men who entered into his Atlanta, Georgia home, stole two laptop computers, several files, but little else. All the materials taken were related to his anti-communist activities. Li was sure Communist China had reached across the Pacific, and into his home as a punishment for expressing his political views.
U.S. borders offered no security for Li.
Even America's airspace appears open to violation. During the Cold War, the United States carefully watched its skies, but that vigilance has been seriously compromised. As Russian military exercises proceeded in April of this year, several Russian bombers were able to fly undetected across the U.S. controlled zone in the Arctic Ocean and continue unobserved into Canada.
It was an event the U.S. media neglected to report.
Do the politicians in Washington, D.C. want the United States to keep its sovereignty? Drug dealers, spies, Islamic infiltrators, Russian bombers, and millions of illegal aliens have demonstrated that America has not had the will to maintain its national borders up to this time.
If Bush and the Congress does seal our borders, it will be a major change in U.S. policy. We hope this is the case. The security of the United States and its citizens depends upon the actions of Congress and the President in the coming weeks.
